Directory Quality Standards
Every WhatsApp channel/group, Telegram channel/group and marketplace listing on WhatsAppKanalı (whatsappkanali.com) is reviewed against quality, safety and transparency standards set by our moderation team. This page explains acceptance criteria, review flow, prohibited content and complaint processes for both directories.
This site is not an official representative of Meta (WhatsApp) or Telegram; we only list invite links submitted by users. Day-to-day content management of communities remains with platform rules and channel/group admins.
1. Core principles
The platform operates as a hosting provider under Turkish Law 5651. WhatsApp and Telegram invite links are listed in separate directories; third-party platform terms are outside our control. See terms of use and about us for the legal framework.
2. Listing criteria
A channel or group accepted into the WhatsApp and Telegram directories must meet the following conditions:
- Active invite link: The link must work; persistently full or broken links are rejected or removed.
- Accurate title and description: Misleading, clickbait or off-category promises are not approved.
- Correct category: Content niche must match the selected category; misclassification lowers traffic quality.
- Minimum activity: Empty, abandoned or long-inactive communities are generally not listed.
- Legal compliance: Listings containing content contrary to applicable law are not accepted.
- Duplicates and spam: Multiple copies of the same link or the same admin are merged or rejected.
Submit new listings via the add WhatsApp or Telegram channel/group form; choose the platform in the form. Marketplace transfer listings (WhatsApp and Telegram) follow separate moderation and escrow rules; contract text is shown only when creating a listing and during checkout.
3. Strictly prohibited content
The following content is never listed. When detected it is removed immediately; repeat violations may lead to suspension or permanent ban:
CSAM, grooming or sexual content targeting minors. Zero tolerance.
Private photos, videos or personal data shared without consent.
Terror propaganda, incitement to violence, hate speech and discrimination.
Illegal betting and gambling communities under applicable law.
Ponzi schemes, fake investments, phishing and financial crime promotion.
Illegal substance trade, weapons sales and similar criminal promotion.
Materials involving or promoting abuse of animals.
Bulk personal data leaks, OTP traps and unauthorised data collection.
Use the Report button on listing detail pages or contact channels to notify us.
4. Adult (+18) rules
Adult WhatsApp groups and Telegram channels are listed only under specific conditions:
- Age gate: Adult WhatsApp groups and Adult Telegram channels hub pages require 18+ confirmation.
- Clear labelling: Adult listings carry a +18 tag and are kept separate from general discovery.
- Zero tolerance: Sexual content involving minors, animals or violence; non-consensual material is never accepted.
- Periodic review: Adult category listings are regularly checked for link validity and compliance.
5. Marketplace (transfer) & escrow rules
Additional rules apply in the WhatsApp and Telegram channel/group buy-sell (transfer) section to protect buyers and sellers:
- Misleading subscriber counts, fake revenue claims or off-platform fraud attempts in listing text are rejected.
- In escrow order messaging, email, phone, social handles and all links (even hidden or spelled out) are automatically blocked; violation attempts are logged.
- Images cannot be attached to messages; agreements are text-based.
- Accounts with repeated PII violations may have marketplace access restricted or be fully blocked.
Marketplace contract and payment terms are not on this page; they are shown when creating a listing and during checkout.
6. Moderation process
User or community owner submits a WhatsApp/Telegram add form, marketplace listing or review.
Moderation evaluates title, category, link, description and complaint history; automated filters flag PII/spam signals.
Suitable listings go live; incomplete or incorrect submissions may be sent back for fixes; unsuitable ones are rejected.
Live listings are monitored via complaints, link checks and periodic scans; inactive or violating listings are removed.
User reviews also pass moderation; abusive, spam or personal-data comments are not published.
7. Complaints, takedown & copyright
If you believe a listed entry infringes your rights or you find unlawful content:
- Use the Report form on the WhatsApp or Telegram listing page, or
- Send a takedown / legal removal request (copyright, NCII, personality rights, etc.) via the contact page.
Response times (target): NCII reports 4 hours, illegal content complaints 24 hours, other complaints and legal requests 48 hours. Verified content is removed or blocked immediately.
For copyright claims, include the URL you believe is infringing, rights-holder information and a good-faith statement. Court and administrative orders are enforced without delay.
8. Ranking & transparency
- Organic ranking is based on real engagement signals: clicks, likes, comments, freshness and community size.
- Sponsored / featured placements appear in separate areas labelled "Ad", "Featured" or "Sponsored"; they do not directly manipulate organic ranking.
- Fake subscribers, bot followers or stat manipulation leads to demotion or delisting.
- Advertising packages: see the advertise page.
9. Frequently asked questions
How long does a WhatsApp or Telegram submission take to review?
Channel/group submissions for both platforms are usually reviewed within 24–48 hours. During busy periods it may take longer; rejected submissions receive a brief reason.
Why is a listed entry removed?
Listings may be warned, suspended or permanently removed for broken links, category mismatch, spam/duplicates, suspected prohibited content, many valid complaints or legal/administrative orders.
How is adult (+18) content labelled?
Adult category listings appear on separate hub pages with an age gate and a +18 tag on detail pages. Minors must not access these sections.
Why can't links and contact details be shared in marketplace transfer messaging?
To reduce fraud by keeping buyers and sellers on-platform during escrow, email, phone, social media and all links in messages are automatically blocked. Agreement and payment coordination run through the order page.

NCII reports are prioritised within 4 hours. Illegal content complaints within 24 hours; other takedown and legal requests within a 48-hour target.
